Australian Timber Trainers Association
The Executive Committee is elected each year at the AGM which is held at the annual ATTA Workshop.
The current committee members are as follows:
Director of Towie Timber Training, a business specialising in safety and training Bill is a trained forester of 35 years, with experience in training resource development, and OHS policy formulation and implementation. Bill lives in Mandurah, WA.
June is the General Manager for TABMA Training and possesses a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years of managing Registered Training Organisations (RTO) including business, retail, and customer service qualifications to high risk training/licensing, workplace health and safety and more.
Rob is the manager of Timber Training Creswick, and has been involved with ATTA since 1999, including a stint as president of the association. Rob brings both management and timber processing expertise to the operations of ATTA.
Peter is the Director of Timber Training P/L since 2004, he is also a full time trainer in forestry, civil construction and the rural sector. Peter has experience in forestry, including hand falling and managing logging in Australia and PNG
Kevin has worked in the timber industry for over 25 years in areas such as harvesting, production faller, machine operator before becoming a trainer in the industry. Kevin is currently a Trainer/Assessor for TAFE Gippsland.
Heather is Managing Co-Director (along with husband Terry) of LVTAC which is a Registered Training Organisation focussing on harvesting and haulage, forest growing and management in statewide Victoria with 20 years of experience. Heather has also been an ATTA member for over 20 years.
Terri has had many years working in the mining industry as a Human Resources Consultant. With a postgraduate degree in Human Resources from Curtin University, Terri’s experience includes HR systems and process improvement strategies plus many other general HR practices. Terri live in Mandurah, Western Australia.
