Australian Timber Trainers Association
The Executive Committee is elected each year at the AGM which is held at the annual ATTA Workshop.
The current committee members are as follows:

Andy Cusack
President
Andy has been involved in forestry training, specialising in Tree Falling and OH&S for 38 years. He is also a founding member and inaugural president of ATTA.

Rod Stebbing
Vice President
As CEO of National Workplace Services Group Pty Ltd (NWSG) RTO 22148, Rod brings to ATTA his knowledge and experience as a provider of vocational training in park and forest environments. Rod is also principal of his own company Emtrain Fire and Community Safety Pty Ltd.

Bill Towie
Director
Director of Towie Timber Training, a business specialising in safety and training Bill is a trained forester of 35 years, with experience in training resource development, and OHS policy formulation and implementation. Bill lives in Mandurah, WA.

Ian McLeod
Director
Ian is a specialist within the Forest, Processing, Extraction, Construction, Rural, Horticulture, Transport and Business Industries providing technical and leadership education, training and consulting in all states of Australia and internationally. Currently third party for MTO Group Pty Ltd.

Kevin Nunn
Director
Kevin has worked in the timber industry for over 25 years in areas such as harvesting, production faller, machine operator before becoming a trainer in the industry. Kevin is currently a Trainer/Assessor for TAFE Gippsland.

Terri Towie
Secretary/Treasurer
Terri has had many years working in the mining industry as a Human Resources Consultant. With a postgraduate degree in Human Resources from Curtin University, Terri’s experience includes HR systems and process improvement strategies plus many other general HR practices. Terri live in Mandurah, Western Australia.

George Laws
Senior Fire Training and Development Officer
George is a Senior Fire Training and Development Officer with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), Parks and Wildlife Service in Western Australia. Has 33 years of experience in Forest Management, Conservation, Bush Fire Fighting and Prescribed Burning. Custodian of Chainsaw and Tree Falling training for the Departments Operational Training Unit.
